Cameron Highlands
Been out of the country during the weekends.
Cameron Highlands is not the place you would want to go for a holiday if you intend to shop or have a lot of fun. It's more to a place where you can get close to Mother Nature, relax and escape from the tensions of cities. In another words, one good place to relax!
22 September 2006

Boarded the bus at Lavender MRT Station. The seat between space is quite small, the bus is probably very old already. So we left Lavender MRT Station at about 6pm.Reached our first pit-stop in Malaysia at about 8.45pm.We were given time to take break and eat dinner. The photo was taken at the pit-stop.The pit-stop is actually something like a foodcourt.I shared a plate of Hor Fun with my Grandmother. It was quite nice! After dinner,we were brought to the Eighteen Luo Han temple that is really famous.Prayed there for a safe trip and off we went!We left to head to Cameron Highlands.Slept on the bus...kind of strained my neck...
23 September 2006
Reached the foot of Cameron Highlands...our second pit-stop!If you have been to Malaysia, you would probably know how their pit-stops are like.Very big toilets, even have bathrooms.I forgot to bring my camera down with me from the bus.It was about 4am so I wasn't quite in the right mind!Drank milo and freshen up at the toilet! Then, board the bus and up the mountain we went!2 hours of winding roads and finally Cameron Highlands!

Reached the Cameron Highlands at about 6am.Alighted from the bus and I could feel this cool breeze.I loved it...but it was quite cold if you didn't wear a jacket or something...lolx!Shared a plate of Chee Chong Fun with my Grandmother. It cost RM4!It wasn't really Chee Chong Fun,in fact,it looked more like Kway Tiao(?)!

Didn't go to the hotel straight away.Went to visit a place called Rose Valley.Paid RM4 for entrance.Didn't really see much but at least provided me things that I could capture with my new camera!

After Rose Valley,we were brought to see some strawberry plantations.Nothing much to see also.By now,I felt like the trip quite wasted.Cause we didn't get to see much!Took some photos of the strawberries...then went to buy ice-cream to eat!Cool breeze plus ice-cream!Very shiok...lolx
Went to this place called Bee Valley...didn't go see cause the steps were quite steep and thus, not very convenient for my grandma. But we did buy a bottle of honey!Yummy...I love honey! It's kind of like a habit to buy a bottle when we go Malaysia...lolx
We were supposed to be visiting Cactus Valley. But many of the people in the tour group were starting to get irritated by the fact that there was not much to see.I was expecting to go to Cactus Valley as it was one of the places where Tam(I think) had mentioned about that is worth a visit...wasted!
Headed to the restaurant for lunch before checking into the hotel. The lunch was...well,okay lah...

So,we checked in into the hotel! The room that we were originally assigned to had some problems. So we were given a new room. The new room was actually not much better.Overall, the hotel was quite sucky. But at least got bed to sleep! So tired!
There were plans to go see this red-foot monk that is really famous(cause they say he can cure you of your illness by just saying you are cured?!)
My grandma wanted to sleep cause she was very tired. Thus,we skipped that trip and lucky we didn't go!The monk wasn't there and it was raining!
Stepped out of the room only when it was dinnertime! It was cold, probably due to the rain which was getting smaller and eventually stopped. We had steamboat for dinner.

It was good as it was hot and kept us pretty much warm. After dinner,we went to the pasar malam. We had to go down a slope to get there. My grandma had a bit of problems when we got back.Anyways, the pasar malam was more like market!Sell vegetables at night, strawberries, some clothes were sold also.Even honey...my grandma bought another bottle for my cousin!I bought myself a Billabong cap for just RM10!Really lucky...one sold at Chinatown cost $10!I bought one for about half the price! There were also food on sale lah...from deep fried crab(the whole crab!) to kaya balls(which are quite nice!)
Went back to hotel room.Watched TV before I eventually fell asleep.
24 September 2006
Woke up and bathe before packing up my stuff.Went for our breakfast which was one of a kind!Cause they actually serve the breakfast. As in,they give you the plate of bread and hotdog, etc.Unlike the past few times when we went to other parts of Malaysia where the breakfast was served in the form of a buffet!Well, always a first time for everything I guess!

Took some pictures of the scenery before leaving the hotel.
On our way,we were given some time to see the tea mountains!Didn't get chance to drink the tea...wasted again!Only had enough time to take some more photos before we were on our way down again!
Reached the pit-stop at the foot of Cameron Highlands. We were then brought to a shop where they sell the local snacks.Bought three boxes of Tou Sa Bing. The Tou Sa Bing was really delicious and were one of my favorites. One box is my grandma's,one for me,and one for the colleagues at Scoopz!
Then,we head for the restaurant to eat lunch. The food was getting better.By the time we ate dinner, the food was wonderful. After lunch,we went to a shopping centre at KL.Didn't do any shopping...just sat at Delifrance with my grandma and drank coffee!Went for dinner after that and headed back to Singapore...Nothing much to elaborate...lolx
Overall, the trip was qutie wasted but still ok lah!I even thinking of maybe organise outing for the class to go Genting...see first lah!
Finally finish writing this entry!
It is actually 5th October now...got my pay yesterday.Eileen(from Scoopz) is supervisor. And I bought the 'Princess Hour' VCD for Eileen(from Scoopz)...I don't know why I did that though...lolx...so that's all!Blog soon...such a long entry should keep all of you busy for a while...lolx

Anyone out there...?
Didn't feel like blogging when I turned on my laptop...but somehow,I'm here blogging.
The question still remains...Is there anyone out there who actually bothers to read what I have blogged?
Maybe it no longer matters to me anyone. In fact, maybe nothing and everything really matters to me anymore...I have really don't have anything for me to lose(except my weight...lolx...and my life)
After wasting so many years of my life,I still find that I am pretty much alone and want to be left alone...by myself.Sometimes,I just feel that it might be possible to overcome everything on my own and by myself...
Friends...did they really even existed in my life?I was told that friends are sometimes just like passer-bys...they come and they go...some will even fail to regconise you after a short period of 2 to 3 months...that's how easy it is to forget someone that you treated yesterday as your "friend"...
As for me...I try my best not to forget anyone who has walked past or with me till my life so far but to them...I am just a passing memory...insignificant?Probably...
Some people are worth missing and thinking about...but life has to go on...
To be honest...I do miss those friendly "hi"'s from friends, times spent messing around and wasting our lifes...it was fun...while it lasted...
The Past : A Memory
The Future : An Unknown
Now : A Gift that we call the Present(?)

Yet Another Day
It's been yet another day...A somewhat ordinary day...
I forgot to mention yesterday that I went to extend the expiry date of my passport.I am going to Cameron(is the spelling right?lolx)Highlands next weekend. So don't waste your time and check back next Friday to Sunday...lolx
So,today has been another day,as I have mentioned right at the start.Helped out at my Grandma's stall.Went to Clementi, then to Jurong East.Saw some 'people' with their,I THINK,boyfriends.Nothing else...lolx...my life is just so boring...and holidays really seem to be quite sucky as of now...
So that's all for today...I'm outta here!

No idea why,but my MSN Messenger is not working...sianz...hopefully,it will be okay soon
Nothing much left to blog...so I guess I will end it here cause I am falling asleep...will blog some other day!
