[Post begins here] Final KTV trip ends well. The good thing about it, you get to hear some songs which you may have never heard before. Just so happens I did.
Had dinner with Fun and Wan Ting joining us. Then it was pretty much left with Fun, Wan Ting, Jay and me. Got to town. Walked around. Went home.
Slept through much of today and pretty much having one of those 'sleep-too-much-heavy-head' feeling. So I am quite dead now. Trying to decide if I want to redo my song. One last MP perhaps?

Underoath - Reinventing Your Exit
Underoath - Reinventing Your Exit 12th and Hyde on a Sunday Feeling like were grown And we're nothing short of invincible (Invincible, invincible)
It starts again, can you feel it? It takes your breath away Stop saying that we're invincible (It's round and around) You're uninviting, unrewarding And I'm misinforming you, misinforming you
We all want to be, want to be somebody Right now, we're just looking for the exit
This is the way I would have done things Up against the wall, up against the wall You got me up against your wall This is the way I would have done things Up against the wall, up against the wall You got me up against your wall
It's you and me on a Monday The lies that we told This is where we both go numb now You broke my heart again this time You're fading now, you crossed the line You crossed the line
We all want to be, want to be somebody Right now, we're just looking for the exit
This is the way I would have done things Up against the wall, up against the wall You got me up against your wall This is the way I would have done things Up against the wall, up against the wall You got me up against your wall
Reaching out for a hand, it's not here But you're not there, but you're not...
This is the way I would've done this Up against the wall, up against your wall This is the way we should've done When we're up against a wall (up against our wall)
This is the way I would have done things Up against the wall, up against the wall You got me up against your wall This is the way I would have done things Up against the wall, up against the wall You got me up against your wall
[Post begins here] It's a hardcore song. But it's nice and the lyrics are good.
Been out with Qiang. He needed to get his phone serviced so we went down to Plaza Singapura. Ate at Carl's Junior and just like the other time when I ate at Carl's Junior with Jayson, I was really full but satisfied. Walked down to Bugis to make reservations for KTV on Saturday. Probably will be the final time before NS enlistment. Thankful and glad to have been able to get Jay, Qiang, Zhi Ying (more like I got Qiang to ask. She IS his girlfriend...LOL)and Greg. Some are unconfirmed. Some can't make it. And for some others, I think I will make it a point not to ask in future. Took a walk around Kinokuniya, noted down some book titles and went to the Central Public Library to find them. Found two of the titles while the others are mostly on loan, so just borrowed two of them. Interesting reads.
The day is closing in. Time to leave it all behind and focus.

[Post begins here] Memories of yesterday are just a flurry of images.
Can't exactly remember much and I pretty much feel like I woke up from the wrong side of bed.
I do remember that my singing was terrible. As much as I would like to say I don't really give a damn, making fundamental mistakes (e.g. Forgetting the lyrics. Wrong timing.) just sucks. And basically, it was just a bloody hectic day.
So, I guess the rest of my time will be spent on waiting. Waiting to enlist. And maybe try to settle some of the lyrics that I still owe Cynthia and to myself. But hell, I am just feeling too tired for that now. [Post ends here]
[Post begins here] Just another one of those sleepless nights. Listening to old songs, hokkien songs. 我就是喜欢老派!!!我就是要老派!!! [Post ends here]

Boys Like Girls - Up Against The Wall
Boys Like Girls - Up Against The Wall It's over Look out below And I'm wasted I still taste it Yeah it's so hard to let go So breathe in now And breathe it out The forecast A car crash It's looking like another... Breakdown, rebound This could be my last goodbye You cross your heart, I hope to die
And I can't deny your eyes You know I try to read between the lines I saw a warning sign And then you threw me up against the wall Who said that it's better to have loved and lost? I wish that I had never loved at all
No rewinds No second times And I won't break I won't waste, everything you left behind So don't follow Just let it go The weather's, been better Don't let it be another... Breakdown, rebound This could be my last goodbye You cross your heart, I hope to die
And I can't deny your eyes You know I try to read between the lines I saw a warning sign And then you threw me up against the wall Who said that it's better to have loved and lost? I wish that I had never loved at all
All the nights you spent sitting nowhere out there on your own All the nights I waited by the phone when you were going in alone And all your different faces and all your different ways are making everything a mess And all I'm saying is that all your different places and all the complications laid to rest
And I can't deny your eyes You know I try to read between the lines I saw a warning sign And then you threw me up against the wall Who said that it's better to have loved and lost? I wish that I had never loved And I can't deny your eyes You know I try to read between the lines I saw a warning sign And then you threw me up against the wall Who said that it's better to have loved and lost? I wish that I had never loved at all (Never loved at all)
[Post begins here] To be honest, I don't really have anything to blog about. Not really in the mood either I guess. Many things that I have been giving much thought about, and sometimes, maybe a little too much.
The hype about getting that NS enlistment letter has died down. Being a weekday, I told my parents not to send me off and just go to work. Many people say it's a once in a lifetime thing, but I guess I have been pretty much trained by Mum at such stuff. Its always been being independent for me. Enlistment wouldn't make much of a difference. It will just be another event in my life and I have no problem with going at it alone. I sense some stuff happening in the near future when I get to NS but I guess I would only be able to confirm them when the time comes. One thing's for sure, NS brings about much oppurtunities for me. Much to lose.
Some stuff, I just don't have the courage. Rehearsing things to say but nothing comes out. What's the point anyway? I did drink a few day ago...but hell, I think I need another. [Post ends here]
Date of the finals for the SoE singing competition is out. 14th May. Coincides with the graduation ceremony day. Seems like it's going to be hectic on that day. Time for song selection again. Three songs to choose from and I more or less feel like going with this song or 陈奕迅's 十年.
Nothing else to blog about. [Post ends here]
